If you do not feel like driving, you can relax and let yourselves be seduced by the charm of the farming and forest environment of the Hostal Nou surroundings. You can enjoy your time walking or biking on the roads flanked by wheat, sunflower, or corn fields (depending on the season), walnut and olive trees and forests; by looking for mushrooms or asparagus (depending on the season); by observing the river Fluvià or by walking on the quite and charming roads of the village of Crespià.

The Costa Brava North beaches from Llançà to L’Escala are at 30 minutes from the Hostal Nou.
During the whole year, and particularly in summer time, a wide number of traditional folk festivals and fairs take place in the area. At the Hostal Nou we will inform you about the most remarkable events going on during your stay.
The most important event in Crespià is the Fira de la Mel (the Honey Fair) of middle age origin, that takes place annually every last week-end of February.
The Pla de l’Estany, Alt Empordà, La Garrotxa and Gironès gather one of the best and widest gastronomic offers of Catalonia, from internationally known restaurants awarded with Michellin stars to less known places but with an original and high quality offer.
