Del 25 d’abril al 4 de maig es celebren a Figueres les Festes de la Santa Creu. Més d’una setmana amb unes 200 activitats programades per a tots els gustos. Les Fires són la Festa Major de Figueres, que es celebra des de 1819, si bé el seu origen prové d’una gran fira de mercaderies y bestiar que es remunta al regnat d’Alfons el Magnànim el 1419.
